ABOUT WAYWOOD FAIR TRADE

Waywood Fair Trade was established by Company Director Dr Stuart Wood as part of Waywood Enterprises Limited, a UK limited company.

The company opposes any form of exploitation or oppression of peoples and nations and part of our overall vision is to support underprivileged people around the world.

By establishing Waywood Fair Trade and providing fairly traded products, part of that vision is enabled.  Craftsmen are assured a realistic income for their skills, allowing them to support themselves and their families, and providing opportunities that would otherwise be inaccessible.

We supply fairly traded products from around the world, although our major focus is jewellery from Latin (South) America, including the Amazon region.

Waywood Fair Trade accepts debit & credit card payments via PayPal.

About Our Supplier

Our supplier is TUMI Ltd, a UK company based near Bristol (Visit the TUMI website).  TUMI have been committed to the Fair Trade cause for many years.  They were one of the earliest pioneers back in 1978, well before the term 'Fair Trade' became trendy. TUMI really care for the artisans and craftsmen who make their goods and now have a network of thousands of families and co-operatives throughout South America.

Having enjoyed years as a customer of TUMI through their shop in Bath, they were our natural choice for supplier when Waywood Fair Trade was formed.
