Postage & Packaging Costs

Postage and packing costs are shown under each item.

HOWEVER, IF YOU BUY MORE THAN ONE ITEM, P&P IS CALCULATED ON THE TOTAL ORDER, NOT ON A RATE PER ITEM ... SO YOU SAVE MONEY!

Variation in Colours & Patterns

All jewellery is handmade. Each item is an individual with its own unique design. Some are made from natural materials.  These all mean that colours, designs and patterns may vary from those shown on this web site and even between items of the same code.  Please take this into consideration when choosing your jewellery and please contact Waywood Fair Trade if you have any questions, concerns or requests.

Measurements & Sizing of Jewellery

Approximate measurements in millimetres (mm) are given for each item of jewellery we sell. The following diagrams and text explain how we  describe the sizes and dimensions of our jewellery on our sales pages.

Earrings

Drop is the maximum length from the hook to the bottom of the earring.

Width is the widest dimension of the earring.

Bracelets/Bangles

Width is the distance from the outer side to inner side

Depth is the distance from top to bottom of the item ('thickness of wrist').

Necklaces/Torques

Rather than quoting a length of chain/necklace, we quote a drop for a given width (as shown in the diagram).

Maximum drop is the total drop including any attachments.

The only exception to this is where pendants are supplied on chains or ribbons, when dimensions of the pendant are stated along with the length of the chain or ribbon.

Pendants

Pendant dimensions are quoted excluding the mounting loop.  Where a pendant not square, rectangular or circular, the largest dimension is quoted.

Materials

Most of the jewellery we sell is made form Sterling Silver or is silver plated. However, some items such as Peruvian brass coins and Amazon earrings are made with brass hooks and fittings. Please contact Waywood Fair Trade if you have any questions or concerns.

Returns

For safety and hygiene reasons we are unable to accept return of earrings for pierced ears except in the case of a fault or damage during delivery. For further information please read our Returns & Cancellation Policy and our full Terms & Conditions.
